Il est en parallèle collaborateur scientifique à l’Université catholique de Louvain (Institut de recherche santé et société) et à Sciensano, l’Institut belge de Santé Publique. Il est également chargé de cours invité à l’Université catholique de Louvain, à la VUB, et à la HE-Vinci. Ses thématiques de recherche et d’enseignement portent sur l’épidémiologie, les déterminants sociaux de la santé et l’approche « One Health », ainsi que sur l’évaluation des politiques et systèmes de santé, avec une expertise et affinité spécifique pour la santé mentale.
Il est également membre du comité d’administration de l’association belge de santé publique (BAPH), expert auprès du Conseil Supérieur de la Santé, ainsi qu’auprès du comité d’appui thématique « surveillance, information et communication en santé mentale » mis en place par Santé Publique France.
